KWAME ODEI, Nathan (Board Secretary)

Kwame Odei was born in Ghana to parents from the Akwapim mountain area of the Eastern region, he started schooling at Mim in the Ahafo region of Ghana. He continued at Akropong Akwapim Salem Presby Boys' Middle School from where he went to Sunyani Secondary School for his GCE 'O'-Level certificate. After the 'O'-Level, he taught for a couple of years before heading to Mount Mary Training College at Somanya-Krobo, to be trained as a French teacher.

As part of his training, he undertook courses in French language at the University of Abidjan in La Côte d'Ivoire, Mount Mary and Kumasi Workers' College, while teaching at various High schools including Asanteman Senior High School, Opoku Ware School and Bekwai SDA Senior High. He graduated with B.Ed. French Education from the GBUC affiliated to UCC.

In 1988, he left Ghana for France for a short study at the Université de Poitiers. He stayed in France for four years before moving to the United States of America, where he stayed till 2007 when he returned to Ghana. Since his return, he has been teaching French in various portfolios. Kwame Odei is a highly experienced and exposed professional who can also speak multiple languages.

ASAMOAH BOADI, Nana Yaw Wi (Board Chair/CEO)

Asamoah Boadi has studied and practiced personal development and spirituality for many years. He has also lived as a Novice and a Religious for some years, paying attention to private meditation, periodic retreats, consciousness expansion and universal spirituality.

He studied a Diploma in Philosophy and Religion at the then Spiritan Institute of Philosophy and another Diploma in Education from the University of education. He also graduated in BA Philosophy and Social Sciences which was awarded by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He holds another Bachelor of Business Administration from the Kumasi Campus of the University of Education, Winneba. He has also graduated in Master of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and specialized in organizational behavior from the same institution.

Asamoah Boadi is an energetic and ambitious professional. He has developed a mature and responsible approach to tasks or situations. As a graduate and educational researcher with experience in philosophy, education, management, administration and interest in universal spirituality, he is excellent in working with others to achieve objectives.

Asamoah Boadi has taught in many schools at different levels and portfolios. He is now supervising many business organizations whiles assisting Lectureship at the Institute for Distance and e-Learning (IDeL)

FOKUOH AMPONSAH, Paul (Board Member)

Fokuoh Amponsah is a Lecturer at the Tamale Technical University. He is also a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering and the Ghana National Association of Teachers. He holds a Commonwealth Executive Masters of Business Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He also holds a BSc in Mechanical Technology Education and a Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba. Paul holds a Higher National Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Tamale Polytechnic, Agriculture Engineering Technician Part II & I and Agriculture Mechanics Works all from the Tamale Polytechnic. Paul is currently finalizing an MPhil in Soil and Water Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He is proficient in English, Twi, Dagbani, Hausa and Gonja, As a member of the Voluntary Work Camp Association of Ghana (VOLU), Paul is very experienced and has been involved in many academic, NGO and social intervention works. He is a reader and a writer at the same time.

OSEI- POKU, JUNIOR (Board Member)

Born and raised in Nkawie, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, Osei- Poku Junior had his high school Education in Kumasi Armed Forces Senior high School. He then proceeded to the Ghana School of Social work (Accra,Osu.

He then worked with the Department of Social Welfare for a couple of years where he was made a supervisor in the various departments of social work, and was given additional duties to counsel juveniles who come into contact with the law.

After four (4) years with the department of Social Welfare, he gained admission into the University of Education, Winneba where he studied Guidance and Counseling in Education, and was awarded a Bachelor of Education in Guidance and counseling (psychology Major). In his pursuit for higher Education, Mr. Osei-Poku Junior was admitted into the EAE business school, Madrid (Spain) where he was awarded a double degree in Business in Marketing and sales, and from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos a master of international Economics Relation Analysis.

Currently he is studying another Master in Sustainable Energy Technology from the Aicad University, Spain. This course is in light of his passion to find numerous ways to protect our environment by learning how to assess the potential for energy reduction and potential of renewable energy source like wind, solar and biomass. Osei-Poku Junior has a committed team Spirit, he can effectively utilize quantitative and qualitative reasoning in social issues, and he takes initiative in challenging task and has good communication skills for interpersonal interaction.
